Having been to this establishment quite a few times before, we decided to visit with our wider family. We wanted to eat here but were not expecting to eat in the restaurant - we were more than happy to eat outside and bar food would be good. Unfortunately we hadn’t booked and so were told we couldn’t have food-this was fine-apart from the attitude of the female member of staff-she was extremely rude-there was no apology-it was more like-tough-you can’t eat here!!! She has let down a great pub that is usually very friendly-this has really put us off coming here in the future!!!

In the last couple of months I've had two lunches and two dinners here with the number of diners varying from two to nine. Each meal was enjoyed by all and the choices were varied. The meals, both mains and desserts, were well presented, well cooked and nicely flavoured with some interesting combinations. The staff were very pleasant and accommodating which made the experience of eating here relaxed and enjoyable.

Went for a drink on Sat 9th June as we were staying locally. It is a really nice pub with a lovely garden
We decided to book for lunch the next day. We had a drink in the garden first (they have a decent selection of gin) as it was such a lovely day..We had our dog so were shown to a dog friendly area.. had 1x Calamari for starters..then 1 x Beef and 1 x Lamb for mains. Followed 1 x sundae for dessert.. plenty of staff on who were all very nice. We didnt have to wait long for any of
our food which was served hot and well presented..with a decent bottle of Malbec. Will def return when we are back in the area.
