This is the top of the line for this chain as there are 3 total tiers; much like American chain hotels. Located within 2 blocks of the subway it took us two days to figure out that we could get to the subway via escalator instead of stairs by going through the nearby Department store. This was a back saver when leaving with our luggage the third day and would have been nice knowing on the way in...perhaps the chain could invest in underground signs?
Rooms are exceptionally clean and modern with generous twin beds and a full size bathroom with complete shower curtain. Every amenity is provided from razor and shaving cream to comb and hairbrush and nail files so no worries if anything was forgotten. Breakfast buffet Japanese style is available at an extra charge or as part of a train/hotel package available through major JR stations. While the variety is quite good; nothing is labeled in English so be careful to ask if you suffer any food allergies.
Cold cereal, fresh fruit, yogurt and toast are available for those with strictly western palates.
Beds are firm and comfortable and the quiet is pretty complete once in the room with the door shut. We had a room near the elevator and still had no noise pollution to deter a restful night sleep. Staff is alert and willing to be helpful but is limited in conversational English and map resources. The city tourism board should provide them with maps in English as this is a destination hotel for many people looking to visit the Castle and museums as well as nearby Nara.
The one caution: the heat is either on or off for the entire building with no in room control so be prepared to sleep with the window open if it gets too hot or dry or both.

My wife and I stayed here for only one night unfortunately on our way to Kōyasan. This a great hotel, spacious room which is not common in Japan. Modern and very clean. Very close to subway and there is also a well stocked supermarket 200 mths away. Highly recommend this hotel.

Nice hotel but more of a business hotel. Location was pretty decent, very close to the subway which can take you everywhere in Osaka. Breakfast was fine with lots of options and bed while firm was comfortable.

This hotel is super clean, very close to a station and has lovely staff who are always ready for any questions. The rooms are clean and tidy, it's central to a lot of things and there are family marts and 7/11s nearby too. Definitely recommend!

Had a 3-night stay at Hotel Unizo Yodoyabashi single room, slightly narrow corridor to open up my suitcase but still a good room size. It is located away from the major tourist spots at Yodoyabashi, but it is only one stop away from Umeda Station on the Midosuji Line (it would be handy if you have an ICOCA card; not so convenient if only have JR pass). It has easy access to Family Mart and Kohyo Supermarket. All room amenities and wi-fi were well-equipped and bed was very comfortable.

However, do reconsider this place if travelling with heavy and multiple luggages as the there might not be an downward escalator once you entered Yodoyabashi Station (though there is a lift outside the station gates to get to Street level at Exit 12/13). I struggled a bit to carry my heavy luggage down the stairs to the station.
