I and my significant other usually stay near Osaka Station or "Kita" area, but I found this Imperial Hotel Osaka is good this time. I thought it was not convenient either form Shin-Osaka station or Osaka's Itami Airport, but Shin-Osaka was not so distant by cab. Facility, ambience, services are the level as expected as "The Imperial" as in Tokyo. Room charge is reasonable as this level of hotel. I will come back and stay either business or pleasure next time.

The hotel was very nice, and the rooms very large. Ours had a view over the river. Staff were most helpful. No breakfast was included with our package, so we had breakfast in various locations close by. The hotel is in a building connected to a shopping and restaurants arcade, so there was a wide variety of options for eating. The restaurants in the hotel were amazing but very expensive.
We arrived at 10 am after a long flight and were told that check in was at 2 pm. We waited a while then asked if we could pay for an early check in. We were advised that this was possible and were quoted around A$350 for a check in 2 hours prior to the 2 pm normal time.

Room Tip: Riverview are the best

It was my 2nd stay at the Osaka Imperial Hotel, and it was perfect.
The staff is very kind and efficient.
Breakfast and food are excellent.
A marvellous walk with sakura on the river is near the hotel.
Thank you for these wonderful moments.

We only stayed 1 night at the beginning of April, but we were so happy when we got to our room and saw the view ! Cherry blossoms in full bloom all along the river. FANTASTIC ! We had Takkyubin our luggage from our Kyoto hotel, and it was waiting for us on arrival here. Check in was easy, the room, was spacious for japan, desk with free wifi, two armchairs, good size wardrobe, and a nice bathroom with a deep bath. Breakfast was included and it was very good. I would have liked to spend more time here but we were going on a cruise.

We stayed here for 2 nights at the end of March and were lucky to strike the Cherry blossom at its best. The hotel was ideally located to make the most of the spectacle and, although large, was easy to get around and to explore the surrounds. Our room was large enough and comfortable with a pleasant if not perfect outlook. Our stay included breakfast which was more than adequate for our needs with a selection of dishes which we would expect of a first class hotel.
