Very nice experience ! Not a traditional hotel. Very peaceful in the middle of a national park. Super breakfast, very nice atmosphere. The people are very helpful, very open. Every room is special and different. You need to explore this.More
My wife and I only booked one night here and it was a mistake. You need at least two nights to enjoy all the benefits of the hotel and surroundings. Tania welcomed us warmly and efficiently and we settled in with a delicious but simple lunch that we intended to be modest but was actually very generous. The afternoon was spent relaxing by the beautiful outdoor pool before a truly delicious Portuguese tapas style dinner where we shared three dishes - mussels, calamari and sweet potato mash, and a steak espetada. We enjoyed a bottle of wine from the Minho region on their apparently very worthwhile wine list. The bedroom was well appointed and very comfortable and we had a balcony with beautiful mountain views. Definitely should have stayed longer.

I stayed here for two nights as part of a tour. It was lovely - rooms with movie themes, I had the Marie Antoinette which had a great view over the surrounding hills.
Perfect place to do some local walks, like by the pool, read your book and have a massage. If you’re looking for somewhere that’s fast paced this is not the place for you.
Food is simple and good - you need to order dinner earlier in the day.

We very much enjoyed our stay at the Cooking and Nature Emotional Hotel. It is a special, quiet retreat in the mountains. The staff were pleasant and very accommodating. We hiked the national park literally steps from the hotel, had fun taking a cooking lesson, and relaxed on the property. Our only regret is that we were able to stay only 2 nights as they were booked - strongly recommend you make reservations well in advance to fully enjoy this gem of a retreat.

Beautiful modern hotel - they really paid attention to each detail of the interior and each room has a theme which comes with a movie for you to watch! Modern, clean, simple and the service was excellent! Family friendly and great pool! Surrounded by beautiful nature! The breakfast was wonderful as well!

Perfect place. Peaceful, beautiful, freindly, great stuff, extraordinary rooms and great activities.
We cooked our dinner with the chef and it was good experience for all of us. 7 years old boy and two teenagers. We all agreed it was the loveliest hotel we have ever been in.
