My wife and I only booked one night here and it was a mistake. You need at least two nights to enjoy all the benefits of the hotel and surroundings. Tania welcomed us warmly and efficiently and we settled in with a delicious but simple lunch that we intended to be modest but was actually very generous. The afternoon was spent relaxing by the beautiful outdoor pool before a truly delicious Portuguese tapas style dinner where we shared three dishes - mussels, calamari and sweet potato mash, and a steak espetada. We enjoyed a bottle of wine from the Minho region on their apparently very worthwhile wine list. The bedroom was well appointed and very comfortable and we had a balcony with beautiful mountain views. Definitely should have stayed longer. More
