we stayed a group of 7 for 4 nights in April 17 .
The hotel is amazing . it is one of a kind place that combines fantastic location with great architecture and interior design , This is a small gem that you will not want to leave .
The staff is pleasant and helpful , the cooking lessons are OK , the kitchen does most of the work and lets you do the finishes , but still its a fun experience , breakfast and dinners are good . the area itself is very "Mediterranean" by look and nice for walks and some bicycke riding . Take a good book or laptop - its a great place for a quite stay !

This hotel is a gem. The staff are delightful, the rooms are unusual and well thought out, each one being different and the food is very good. We had a cooking lesson which was great fun- even if I was rather longing for some veg or salad at the end of our stay!
It isn't a typical hotel in any way so if you are the type that wants a busy restaurant with lots of choices maybe not for you ( you pick what you want to eat a few days before and you both eat the same) but we loved it here. The views are fantastic and it was so peaceful.
We went walking during the day and visited a stunning monastery half an hour away. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who likes quirky.
We came on to a hotel ( Farol) just outside Lisbon at Cascais and it made me realise what good value the cooking hotel is. Farol is a LOT more per night and although it has great views of the sea, the rooms, even a designer room, are not as good and have no bath.

The spot is amazing in the middle of the nature (serra d'aire).
A good place for rest and chill.
The food was god but all the ambience is the best. We really felts like home.
The different decoration of the many rooms are very cozy.
Definitely a place to return.
All the staff was incredible and gentle.
I m in love for this amazing place on earth.

We just spent the weekend at Cooking and Nature emotional hotel. First location, close to Fatima (religious tourism), from here you can visit many small historical cities, visit some of the nicest underground caverns in the country or simply enjoy natures walking or with a bike (supplied by the hotel). The hotel itself is very nice, great effort has been made to create a ambience in public areas and in the rooms. The rooms have different theme you may choose upon availability, we got the "avatar" room with a round shape bed. The staff is a credit to the hotel, everyone we had contact with was top.
We had the cooking workshop on Friday night, great experience with chef Ricardo, thank you!! We wanted to book for Saturday but it was already booked...

After 2 days heat in the Douro valley, the cooler climate of the surrounding was very much welcome. Located at the border of a national park, this b&b offers a quietness in a very stylish setting! Great swimming pool surrounded by old olive trees, utmost friendly staff, spacious and well decorated rooms and a good breakfast in the morning. Dinner is simple but well prepared and after that you can take a coffee or tea outside at the campfire
