Stayed 17 nights - July 2018.
The studio is located up a flight of steps, giving a great view over Lakka harbour.
The village is a five minute walk away, either down the steps or along the road.
The nearest beach - Harami - is also a five minute walk away.
Harami beach is located within Lakka harbour, so the water is usually calm.
Take beach shoes, as the beach is pebbly.
The main room of the studio has a double and a single bed.
There is a television on the wall - only receives Greek terrestrial channels.
There is a wall-mounted hair drier next to the dressing table.
The air-conditioning unit can get a little noisy.
The kitchen is fairly basic -
- Microwave oven
- Table-top stove with two rings and a small oven
- 1980's style filter coffee machine - did see filters/coffee available in Aggelo's supermarket
- Fridge with small freezer compartment
- Double sink
There is not a washing machine (as you may see in some descriptions).
The bathroom has shower/toilet/basin - no bath.
The shower has good pressure - shower head holder requires repair.
The large terrace has two sunbeds, chairs and a table with three chairs.
There is a retractable canopy.
The owners are helpful - e.g. will arrange a taxi for you - which you will need to get from Gaios new port to Lakka.
Be aware that everything in Lakka is expensive, so take what you can with you.
this is the second time i stayed at lina studios, and it is a lovely place to stay.excellant views overlooking the bay where you can sit and watch the boats coming and going. it is also nicely situated about 5 minutes from the centre of Lakka.
Nikos & his parents are really nice & friendly.
Definately will come back again.
We stayed in Studio Lina Upper for 6 nights in May 2016 - we were given an extremely warm welcome and told where everything was nearby. The apartment has a lovely sun terrace with canopy for shade if you need it, it also has a separate small balcony that you can reach via the bedroom (great for morning coffees). The views of the bay are exceptional and it is the perfect place to stay if you are after some R and R. Would definitely stay again.
We stayed in Lina Lower. It is a very comfortable and well equipped studio, the main selling point being the large outside terrace, with table, chairs, sun loungers and stunning views across Lakka Bay. It is just five minutes down to the village (there are a few steps up to the house, but that is the price you have to pay to get the views). And five minutes the other way gets you to the lovely Harami Beach - a beautiful spot with a great taverna. The owners were very helpful, both beforehand, helping us to book the ferry and organising taxis, and also on site. We had a blissful week.
