We rented the entire property of Prati Piani- all three buildings: the farm, the small house and the Villa, for a yoga weekend in a very mixed group of people ranging from families with small toddlers to teenagers, couples, and even singles. The separation of the houses ended up being perfect for our mixed group.
The Villa in particular was very nice, and I could see this being a great family holiday rental as it has it's own kitchen, garden, and ample common space.
Prati Piani is a very unique place, tranquil and the owners seem to enjoy having groups stay. Be sure to have them prepare food for you- Monica is an Ayurvedic chef and her cooking was I think the highlight of the weekend :)
For yoga, it was too cold and wet for yoga outside, so we used the large recreation room which has nice natural lighting, but the tile floors were not very clean so we had to take it upon ourselves to clean them. They have zafoos/meditation cushions to use, and the owners were very respectful of our yoga practices and dietary restrictions.
Was too cold for the pool, but the "natural" hot tub, the sauna and the trampoline were all big hits! One of our guests even brought a dog who quickly became best friends with the resident dog.
The road to the property is super windy, so be prepared- if you take the sea road and then head up it's a bit easier and can even be faster.
