“Very comfortable and cosy cottage, home from home.”

From the original communication to our arriving to find a lovely welcome tray, our stay at Ruby Cottage was indeed a really pleasant experience and in such a cosy cottage too! The cottage has all the facilities you need away from home.
Whilst there is also a very pleasant garden area, we mainly took advantage of the many sights to see in the area which are plentiful, from the many resorts including Padstow, Port Isaac (Doc Martin), St Ives and pretty port of Polperro to walks along the coast. Plus visited some of the Historic Houses in the area. Just a great area to visit.

Liked best: It was a roomy cottage, cosy and clean. Also went for the Wifi,
Liked least: Stairs to main bedroom slightly steep but fine (Bedrooms downstairs too)

“Gorgeous Cottage”

Ruby Cottage is a gorgeous very well equipped cottage. We have now stayed here 3 times, with our dog Harvey.
Very comfortable and cosy living room. Kitchen has everything you will need, including washing machine, tumble drier and dishwasher.
The cottage rear garden is very secure for dogs, also has garden furniture for the lovely warm evenings.
Has a lovely walk from just outside the front door around the quarry.
Is well situated for travelling to local beaches and towns.
would recommend Ruby Cottage to anyone visiting Cornwall.

“Ideal base for a Cornish holiday”

This property has everything. Really well equipped and comfortable and near all the major sights in the area. It is animal friendly with a lovely garden and slate entrance floor - ideal for muddy dogs! The cottage looks deceptively small from the outside and then, once inside, you are delighted by the space. There are some interesting walks from the house which means you don't always have to get in the car and the village has all the essentials shops. The welcome goodie bag was most appreciated and we are now firm fans of Camel Valley wine. I think this is idea for friends, families with small children and is completely pet friendly.
