Stayed here from 2nd June for one week: The owner welcomed us and provided an overview of the property and supplied information on the local area: First of all I must praise the owner in providing a little home from home : The cottage wanted for nothing and our Boxer dog Cooper just loved the garden space which by anyone's standards is both vast and well kept and the views are to die for. Added bonus for this cottage is that is has WiFi which we found more than adequate and could stay in contact with our family back in the UK via WatsApt or Facetime video calls. Ideal location for touring The Dingle Peninsular and The Ring of Kerry. Local Petrol station come convenience store called Quick Pick just a short distance away; Although this store is only small they just seemed to have everything and even does a cooked breakfast at a quaint breakfast bar inside and all cooked to order, selection of breads, great white pudding and lovely Mallons sausages. Great place to eat just going towards Castlemaine along the R561 in a place called Boolteens called The Anvil Bar and Grill : Fish and Chips was just great and service was second to none. Inch beach about 8 km away however would not recommend Sammy's Beach cafe and restaurant found the place dirty and sub standard food try Foley's across the road from the beach. Anyway to get back to the cottage : The owner is always there if you need her but she just leaves you along to enjoy your holiday : No drawback whatsoever and without doubt would love to go back sometime as would my Boxer dog who made friends with the owners most placid Yorkshire terrier you will ever meet. Great vast sandy beaches on the north side of the Dingle peninsular goes on for miles when we had the whole beach to ourselves and one lone fisherman: If you cant enjoy yourself here being awoken with the dawn chorus and seeing the cows chewing the cud and nosing over the garden fence while you can watch the sunrise and set from the many seating areas in the gardens and drink in the views of Castlemaine Harbour and The North Atlantic Ocean and The Ring of Kerry mountains across the bay, Could not have asked for a better place to stay.
