We visited here in december and it was just fab. The guides areellent and we had some really close encounters with the monkeys, lots of spieces to see and lern about. The monkeys are well fed and looked after. highly recommended

There are about 600 monkeys from 11 different species in this 12 hectare free-roaming sanctuary. I will recommend that you go early in the morning because it gets quite busy later in the day. Because I was early I was lucky enough to walk through the sanctuary with my own guide. Clive was great. You get to see the monkeys up close and they seem not to be bothered by your presence. There are feeding tables for the monkeys every fifty meters or so where they gather for food and you can get a closer look at them. They do have citronella there to rub on for bugs before you embark on your journey through the beautiful natural forest, but I must have missed a spot because I got bitten by a mosquito anyway. This sanctuary boasts one of the longest hanging bridges in the southern hemisphere. I will recommend visiting both Monkeyland and Birds of Eden together. They are next door to each other and it is a bit cheaper if you opt to visit both. I'd say its worth a visit, especially if you have kids.

Do this activity with next door Eden. It's the opposite of Eden with a guided tour (which is welcomed) and far from the structured Eden in the walk through "forest land" however the two locations compliment each other perfectly. Highly recommended.

This park is a real adventure with the Monkeys, our guide was nice, but not as lively as the one at Eden bird scantuary.
