“A bit pricey but well worth it”
Reviewed 16 March 2017

This is a vast netted enclosure, so large that you can see flocks of birds flying around with ample space for them to thrive. An excellent environment in which to see such a huge variety of wonderful creatures. Yes it is a bit expensive, particularly when you also have to pay for the guidebook, but for us it was well worth it.

“A little expensive for so few birds to see on our day there”
Reviewed 15 March 2017

The title says it all. Perhaps it was too hot, but not many birds about except the flamingos near the end of the walk through the park. Wouldn't rush back.

“a great outing”
Reviewed 14 March 2017

This is a beautifully presented bird sanctuary. Fantastic sightings in magnificent surroundings. The best I've seen in a sanctuary for birds. Highly recommended to visit. Buy the guidebook so you know what to look for.

A great place to take the family. Up close and personal with the beautiful birds and the Avery is amazing... it's almost unbelievable that something so huge is a refuge for all theses birds. A remarkable effort to make this such a stunning sanctuary.

“Not the money worth”
Reviewed 12 March 2017 via mobile

Nice big area, but the price (260 rand per adult, kids half) is a rip off. No guide. No educational signs. Guidebook at extra cost.
The money is better spend in a public national park or game drive.
