I stayed in Villa 2, Viman, on this small estate of 8 villas overlooking Nakalay Beach and next to The Naka. Its a little off the beaten track but well worth it. Provately managed and run, the villa came with all staff, maintenance and so forth and we used 4 of the 6 bedrooms for a reduced fee, off season too. The view over the sea and down to the beach was amazing, The infinity pool is a true infinity pool as well looking over the sea from a couple of hundred feet up. The bedrooms are all suitably equipped, two of them with outdoor baths. AC was cool and efficient in all areas. There is a kids room with a nanny alcove as well if needed actually in the room itself. All have ensuite bathrooms, and towels and all linen are provided and changed as needed. There is a movie room with facility to put your own media player in, and satellite TV as needed. We opted to have our food bought as we needed to, there is a charge for this, saves doing it ourselves though. The English is not great, but we are making ourselves understood and both GM and Asst Manager have been to see us, the GM is American and lives on site, not that we have needed him. Pool man was in daily, the whole house is very clean and kept well. The plumbed sound system is good enough and covers the outdoor areas and we plugged in our own devices which can be anything with a headphone jack. having stayed in many luxury villas I would recommend this one for sure as it has all gone very well with no major issues at all, and the cost saving by going private as opposed to chain is fairly significant as well. I had my doubts, they were unfounded! Wifi is a little patchy, we established though it really did depend where you were in the house as the zones efficiency varied greatly. It is suitable though for Skype video with download speeds in excess of 2MB/s in the main area connection.
