And we are as well looking forward to welcoming you back to Etusis. Thanks so much for your lovely feedback!
Thank you Monica and Johan for making us feel at home and spoiling us rotten.
This is a quiet lodge with a private chalet were you can rest and recharge your batteries.
The game drive with Stefan & Johan and there knowledge o the different birds are a delight.
Thanks so much! A wonderful feedback which is our greatest motivation!
We had a fantastic overnight stay on this beautiful farm. Very tranquil and nestled between the marble mountains, it is the perfect place to unwind and relax. The hosts were very welcoming and friendly and made us feel at home. The food was superb and we loved the chalets. Very decorative, clean and comfortable. A very special place and we will definitely go back. Thank you to the hosts for a perfect stay.
Thank you very much for your great review! We will pass on your compliments to Monica, Johan and the team!
And we are looking forward to you coming back!
We stayed 2 nights here as a stop over before flying home from Windhoek. It was definitely worth the 50 minute drive up the dirt road. This was a home from home experience, with our hosts (Monica and Johannes) and staff treating us like family. Nothing was too much including an early start and a lunch bag to take on our journey. Our cottage was clean and comfy with a stunning view from the patio. The food was excellent and such a treat to have afternoon tea and cakes. We really enjoyed the communal eating and listening to all the travel tales. Being able to walk around the countryside was a treat. It was a real Africa experience to end our Namibia adventure. This place is not about the large game but being immersed into the landscape and feeing part of it. Would certainly recommend it as a stop over from or to Windhoek as it was about 3 hours drive.
Thanks so much - you summed up a lot of what Etusis is all about and we are so glad you enjoyed it!
Impeccably well maintained. Vast open spaces. Very comfortable chalets. The host is a walking encyclopedia and very nice to have a conversation with. Enjoyed the fresh food which was well prepared. We had venison pie and schnitzel. Took lovely pictures. Beautiful sunset but I cannot help but wonder how they get along with so little water. Global warming very visible in this beautiful place.
Thanks for your kind words. Also thanks for your very thoughtful reflection on the effects of global warming. You really mentioned our biggest concern, we are truly missing rain. Luckily, there is still some water 100m deep under the marble mountains which is of highest quality and also in the middle of the Otjipatera mountains, wildlife finds hidden springs. Still it is less year after year...
We as a family had stay a few nights at Etusis Lodge and what a wonderful experience it was, The rooms was spacious and clean. the landscape fantastic and the time at the pool was much appreciated. The staf was wery helpful and the they had prepare us very tasty food.
Thanks so much for your kind words! Your positive experience is our greatest reward!
