“Rural, family-run, period farmhouse in Tuscan Hills”
Reviewed 11 August 2011 for a stay in August 2011

A lovely peaceful setting with substantial-sized rooms. Comfortable beds too!
Take mosquito repellent and tea-drinkers, beware, no kettle nor tea-pot!
The drive to Montecastelli is very windy and make sure you get good directions!
Accessible to: San Giminiano (45mins to 1hr30, dependent on route!), Sienna (1 hour), Seaside (1hr15mins), Pisa (1hr30mins)
Beautiful views from most windows and sitting out all around the Fatoria, as well as from the lovely pool. Frogs and dragonflies in abundence. As others said, the children loved the pool.
Chiara and her family were all very friendly and made us very welcome.
Try the pizza at the restaurant (shame it is only open for 3 nights) - very reasonable prices, also the Fatoria's own olive oil is lovely, but more pricey.
