Thank you for your response - sorry to hear the roads were not maintained and that you had difficulty getting to Bhubesi. There is a central road which is gravelled, and although it is bumpy, sedans and 4x4 can easily get there with careful driving. I wonder where you got the wrong road? We will look at signage and directions - and will be printing a proper map this year! Hopefully this will alleviate any future issues.
The good news is that apart from the elephant, and rhino there are no dangerous animals along the route to Bhubesi from Ndlovu. Definitely no man eaters!
This main road is usually maintained, trimmed for all vehicle access, along with the more popular roads. Although this response to your review is very late (apologies!), this will be mentioned to park management again. Hlane is financially self-sufficient and therefore this should not be a problem.

Room tip: Huisje Leadwood is gelukkig erg schaduwrijk.
Als het erg geregend heeft, is de weg hier naar toe zonder 4x4 bijna niet begaanbaar!
Als je de modderige weg wilt vermijden, kun je beter logeren in Ndlovu Camp, dat vlak bij de Cate van het Nationaal Park ligt.
