we thought we would go and see what it was like, we were going to take friends there, we were not impressed, couldn't read the specuals bourd menue was exspencive, the meals were small, not recommended for a pub lunch, no mobile phone signel, car park very steep, the front of the car scraped the road when we drove very slowly out. won't be going there again.

We were recommended to visit The Red Hart Inn from the owner of the local caravan/campsite which we were staying at.

I'm glad we did, the food was very nice and the staff were fantastic. Portion sizes are good, they left you feeling satisfied without wanting more or making you feel as though you'd had too much.

There is a good choice of local real ale and cider. I do recommend that you book a table.

If we are staying the area again we wouldn't hesitate to book again.

We rarely eat out for Sunday lunch as so often its an underwhelming experience, but we had a really good meal at the Red Hart Inn. Potatoes were crispy, vegetables not overcooked, meat was tasty and great gravy. Excellent value too.

Dogs are welcomed in the bar area.
