The villa was roomy with a large living room/kitchen area. The kitchen is western style including an oven and all equipment needed for cooking. I clocked the WiFi to 40Mbps, the fastest I've experienced in Thailand so far. The private pool was standard size and while there's no garden, the pool area was surrounded by decorative plants which provided a cozy feeling.
The location is in a quiet neighbourhood and the best way to get around is with a rental motorbike, which the host was able to provide. There are three separate nightlife areas and several supermarkets within a few minutes drive, and Nai Harn and Kata beaches are withing comfortable driving distance.
For a solo traveller this villa felt a bit big, but I would recommend it for groups of either three couples or three single people, or a family with two kids.
