We stayed here on our way back from Italy. It is about an hour from Calais and is a very interesting place: delightful owner who speaks perfect English; very rural and peaceful - a slice of France off the beaten track. Dinner and breakfast were perfect and the owner was very helpful and interesting. It was also very good value for money. We couldn't fault it.

Spent another excellent New Year at this hotel,we have stayed there many times and always have a wonderful stay.
The food is very good, the New Year dinner was a very enjoyable.
Only an hours drive from Calais it’s in a quiet peaceful location.

The rooms (not many, maybe half a dozen) are disposed around a brick and stone courtyard (converted stables?) in the grounds of an old mansion. Most rooms (including the reception and the restaurant) are ground floor so access for me (I am mobility restricted) was not a problem (but check: as well as the tree house, which is obviously up a tree, at least one room in the courtyard is up stairs). The room was huge and open plan with comfortable furnishings.

Dinner was excellent and breakfast was superb, the best I have had in France, described well elsewhere in these reviews.

An excellent stop to or from Calais or Boulogne. Not cheap but high quality and good value for money.

The rooms are large and well-presented in a modern, minimal style and we loved the linen and the size of the bed. The food was simply marvellous - fresh, very local and packed with flavour and beauty. To say the breakfast was one of the best I have eaten is high praise!

Room Tip: We booked the standard room as they looked great online and were not disappointed

We have visited here many times both to eat and to stay.
Sebastien and his team are excellent.
Unlike so many hotels this hotel has so much space and storage within the rooms

Also there is so much space to wander outside. Excellent
