We received a great welcome with the owner meeting us with the keys at the property despite us running late. A Lovely welcome pack - bottle of red wine, milk, orange juice, eggs, cereals, tea & coffee was greatly appreciated. We asked if the owner knew of anywhere to eat as it was Sunday evening and they advised a great place, where we had a fantastic meal a few minutes away from the apartment.
The apartment was exactly as described set within an old property which had been tastefully renovated and restored. Everything was clean and fresh and just like the photos we'd seen. The apartment was a conveniently located with a fab bar and restaurant next door where the menu changed each day and where we enjoyed many great meals and evenings eating and drinking with the locals and made to feel very welcome. Other local amenities such as a supermarket, pharmacy and petrol station were all just a few minutes walk away.
For us it was ideally located with easy access to great places to visit and access to the A20 travelling through the centre of France approximately 20 minutes away.
After days out returning to the apartment was a great place to relax and unwind. A real 'Home from Home'.

What a great find. We found this by searching trip advisor and how true the excellent revues were. This place is so well kept, lovely spacious rooms overlooking the small square with the restaurant tables outside and never any noise other than the passing convoy of conbine harvesters. You really felt in the country here.
Alan was an excellent host and provides a fridge full of all your basic needs including milk, fruit juice and jams. The adjoining restaurant serves some lovely food and everyone is made to feel welcome.
We were visiting friends locally so it was a nice place to act as a base for us and we will certainly be returning again in the future..
lovely spacious house in a great location for the town and all it's amenities. the house had everthing you need for self catering and it was a lovely touch for the owner to provide juice , t bags and cereal.
the only thing that would have been to our advantage would be English tv as sunday evening everywhere was closed but that said we made use of the ludo set.
the owner is really helpful with local knowledge.
all in all a lovely place to stay an magnac has everything you need within walking distance
I spent hours sitting on the wide window sills watching the world go by. Deborah and her staff all very friendly. A meal in the bar downstairs a must. The 13 tog quilt was not needed during our stay but would be lovely for an out of season visit. Ideal for visiting Limoges or the quiet countryside.
