We arrived at the apartment late at night in the dark and was kept waiting in the underground lobby for 20 mins while the security guards tried to locate our meet and greeter. We were shown the apartment which was nice however the toilets had stains around the seat fixings a bit off putting.The rug also had bad stains on it which I pointed out before the host disappeared
A tea bag or coffee and milk would have been nice so that we could make a drink.
On the 3rd morning we woke up to find that there was no water and when we returned at 5pm there was still no water the receptionist said there was an issue with the pump.
The location was not good Taxis and trip mini busses would not go up the very steep hill to drop us off as the gradient of the road grounded the vans so there was 124 very steep steps to reach the apartment block.
The night before we left the host visited to check that there was no damage and then presented us with a bill for £60 for electricity. I assured her that I had booked and that all bills were included however she said because we had booked with Trip Advisor we had got it cheep and that we should pay for electricity. I did not pay and said I would sort it when we got home with the owner . Thirty minutes later we got a phone call to say it had been a mistake however this incident should not have happened
On the morning we left there was no electricity or wateragain so we could not have a shower flush the toilets or have a drink or breakfast. Then there was the issue of getting all our suite cases down 5 floors of steps as the lift was not working and not a security guard in sight to help us.When we reached the ground floor we then had to get them down the very steep hill to the road to be picked up.
The apartment did have good views however our experience of no water and electricity and the fact that noone would drive upto the apartment spoilt our stay there.
