Although not quite central to any nearby town, we liked the location of this hotel. Cycles always seemed available from the front courtyard for $7 each
The hotel itself is boutique style and just across the road outside, the hotel has its own beach along with a newly refurbished covered pavilion which serves as a beach bar / additional restaurant.
The staff were really great. Diego is the main customer relations manager and he does a great job in keeping everyone happy. Most important of all, he looks like he is listening to criticisms of the hotel and always trying to put improvements in place.
Also, special mention of Krystal. She is relatively inexperienced and put milk in the tea pot with the tea bag, but was always good natured at breakfast.
The fruit at breakfast is good, but the only cereals available were some cornflakes and coloured corn rings, both very high in refined sugars. Muesli would be a positive and easy addition to the breakfast choices, along with some plain yoghurt for those that do not want the high sugar versions.
Overall, a very good hotel for a stay on the Caribbean side of the country.More
