Kokerboom Motel doesn't pretend to be anything but basic ... for instance, there are no showers, only baths ... and trying to plug in the kettle was an excercise in ingenuity, as the cord didn't reach the plug and the kettle had to be paced on the floor !
However, this was a one night stop over, and the beds were very comfortable, the staff were friendly and obliging, and the food was delicious. So all in all, a good value motel if you don't expect frills.

Typical Motel but very comfortable. It was quite strange to have a bath as this establishment did not provide showers.Dinner and breakfast that were provided were good. It was stat of the Namaqualand flowers and several flowers had just started coming out in their large attractive garden.

Room Tip: No special views as all rooms appear to be similar

We stayed at the Motel for 3 nights. The price was cheap and it was clean. Everything is however pretty old and renovations are advised, but it was clean, staff was friendly and we felt welcome.

There are barbeque facilities, TV, Aircon.

Room Tip: Not all rooms have showers, so ask for a room with shower when you do the booking.

The pictures on google and this place don't match. It is dated and expensive. I was expecting a basic no frills stop over for my family on-route to Namibia figuring we will arrive late. Problem is we arrived early in daylight, with 60's bathroom and fist knocks in the doors the smell etc just doesn't make it worth for what we paid.

I can see the main reception area looks better and they are trying to make an effort but honestly the rooms outside are very dilapidated and wouldn't recommend anyone staying over here. Unless you are a hard core trucker.

Just stayed 1 night. It was located just by the road I was using, and I was ready for a good night sleep after driving for 10 hours. I could choose to camp or stay at one of their rooms. The price difference was minimal so I choose to stay at a room. The first room had a strange smell, and the WC did not work, so I requested a new one. The latter was OK, although very simple. Good for a quick stop over, but not more.. Staff was friendly but the breakfast was on the lower side. You can do better! The potential is there. Location by the road for a traveller is great.
