The water is fresh to drink but the fountains are nothing that special to be honest. Still if you are an old romantic then it is worth a walk through the picturesque little town. There are plenty of places around and about to have a relaxing drink as well.

Lovely little village with stunning views and great taverns. Lovers Bridge is a must for the romantics and the water is cool and drinkable.

Really tasty and fresh water.
Have a lot of bottles with you so you can enjoy this fresh mountain spring water later.

Panagia is a beautiful village with a number of springs flowing right through it. Picture perfect in many respects with less than the usual number of tourist traps well worth a few hours to walk around and up into the forest above. The horridly named love springs are very attractive with a modern "centre" near the church, also worth a visit if appropriately dressed. Food and drink opportunities also available. Well worth a trip. The oil factory is interesting and free too.

We visited the love spring on our way round exploring this quaint little village. The church was lovely and inside was so peaceful. If you take a walk upwards from the love spring you can see the whole of Panagia's rooftops and Golden beach out in the distance. We got here by bus from Thassos town and had our lunch at the lovely Taverna Panorama, looking out towards Golden Beach. Lots of interesting little shops and plenty of places to eat, would definitely recommend a visit here.
