We got off on the wrong foot with Marriott Vacation Clubs. My husband is lifetime platinum and our initial encounter with the resort was with a woman that was offensive and rude. We tried to get out of our reservation after realizing we would most likely get a bad room. We fought hard and they finally agreed to let us out or to work hard for us to have a wonderful vacation. We decided to trust in them and we weren't disappointed.
We ended up in Hale 2 and what a treat! We were overlooking the pool and had an ocean view. The room was recently remodeled. Beautiful and clean except for a broken garbage disposal that did cause some odors. They fixed it promptly. The location was stunning. Great beach for the girls and close to great restaurants and shopping.
Overall, just a wonderful experience. If I could stay in that room every time, I would definitely return! We may return anyway. Wonderful service.
