We enjoyed our stay, though short, very much. The room was very comfortable, attractive decor. I liked the patio and lapa area outside with benches and tables in the open. Security was good. It would be better to have TV in the rooms and not in the entertainment area.
had an awesome stay. the owners were very friendly and accommodating. The only thing that bothered me was that whenever they cleaned the room, the never made sure that coffee, tea, sugar and milk was topped up, as well as toilet paper. we ended up going to the shops to buy our own. Besides that, it was an awesome stay and we will definitely be coming back.
The Guesthouse is amazingly situated, close to all the nearby restaurants and nightlife. Our room was cozy and very beautifully decorated. Hester and her husband are friendly and welcoming. We would definitely stay here the next time we are in Parys!!!
We received a friendly welcome from the owner on arrival. The rooms are beautifully decorated, art inspired, fully equipped with the basic needs - a home away from home! Centrally located from the main streets, shops and restaurants. The braai area is a wonderful add on (in the middle of the courtyard), especially for groups who wish to stay in and enjoy a festive together.
The only negative feedback we have: Unfortunately some of the rooms were newly painted. Others experienced low/cold showers after 22h00 and were kept awake by noisy neighbors during the early hours of the morning - it effected our overall sleep quality.
We had a very short, 1 night stay but the experience was wonderful. It was walking distance to everything, the hosts were friendly and very helpful.
It was clean and the beds were very comfortable with electric blankets and a heater to keep us warm.
We will definitely be back.
