After walking through Wolfsklamm you can't fail to see the Monastery at the top. Its not a long climb but well worth it for the view. The restaurant is very good and you can sit on the terrace outside to get the best views. We only had ice creams and cake but the menu looked very good as did the food that was being served.

after an undifficult walk trough Wolfsklamm Gorge you can see St. Georgenberg on top of a big rock high above you. what you see on the picture on the left side is not St. Georgenberg, but the monasterry Fiecht, down in the Inn-Valley, since a few centuries the new center of the monks of St. Georgenberg, which is too far away from civilisation even for monks. Nevertheless, great to see, and enjoy good food und scenery in the tavern of St. Georgenberg!
