Visited Crete for a quickie vacay with family. Upon arrival and regreted we disnt stay for two weeks! The all inclusive resort and beach was beautiful. Wonderful, helpful and friendly staff! Made the most of our stay by seeing Rethymno via the Red Bus Hop On Hop Off tour.

Me and my wife went to this hotel sept /oct 2017 for two weeks it's the first time we would have booked a flight home early the staff were great some of them the hot food was mostly cold the cakes were fantastic the COOK with no smile when asked in the morning could he cook two eggs a bit longer as they were uncooked said something and pointed did not go near him for the rest of the stay drinks with the meals were hit and miss you had two ask and remind time after time only two bars opened entertainment was the worst I have seen in a five star hotel in years (5 star ??????) the staff kept telling us the hotel will close in two weeks as its the end of the season maybe that's why the corridors were like a building site my advise don't go end of sept first week oct sorry forgot to say it was not cheap they charged high season price for our stay

Room Tip: Left side of reception right side is above the restaurant and the kitchen

I stayed here with my wife at the end of September into October for two weeks all inclusive.
The hotel is immaculately clean and well kept, including the pool. The restaurant has a choice of eating outside viewing the ocean, or inside, depending on weather. The weather has been almost too hot some days. A good time of year to visit.
I note some reviews complain about the staff - rubbish - they could not be more pleasant or helpful. Always smiling and happy, with quick service.
The poor reviews probably reflect the fact that they were guests visiting in July and August, which is nightmarishly busy and packed, and everyone gets a bit stressed in the heat, including the staff!
Out of season this has been excellent. Giannis the restaurant manager runs a very good restaurant, and is always present to ensure everything is right. Never a shortage of food or wine, and tables are cleared promptly. The puddings are some of the best I have had at any hotel - not for the slimmers!

The beach is not the best, sand and pebbly and rocky in the shallows. There are plenty of good quality free sunbeds and parasols on the beach. Additionally, the hotel is 1 hour 20 minutes from the airport, and if you use a taxi, is 85 euro one way.

Local bus takes you into Reythymno town, costs 1 euro 20 each way - but you cannot buy tickets on bus - buy them at local shops or in kiosk. Town is quaint with old streets.

Such a very strange hotel. I just don’t understand why it’s being sold as a 5* hotel when everything is 3*. I would not recommend staying here if you looking for a luxury 5* hotel like we were.
The rooms were clean, the reception staff helpful and friendly. The food is canteen food, waiters are rude.
