Our 4th Stay at the sea breeze, we stay in room 22, Top floor front building over looking the Ionian Sea. Apartment is modern and contemporary with open plan lounge, dining and kitchen, modern shower room, and a double bedroom with double built in wardrobe, dressing table with large mirror, opening onto a large balcony spanning bedroom to living room, which is such a beautiful space to enjoy a cocktail, wine, cheese and biscuits watching the sunset, truly spectacular views.

We ate in the restaurant some mornings for breakfast, toast and jam followed by Greek yoghurt, honey and fruit, very refreshing, then every day, for lunch and every other day for evening meal. 10/10 for all meals from salads, such as Tuna, Chicken, Caesar, chefs special and sea breeze special. Evening meals and starters from Hummus and Pitta, stuffed Vine Leaves, omelettes, mushrooms in garlic sauce, saganaki, Houloumi Sea Bass, penne and smoked salmon, Sofrito, pastisada, stifado, Beef Stamnas, the list is quite extensive, and each meal we had was tasty, filling and faultless, with 2 particular favourites of pork fillet with mushroom sauce and Kleftiko created by Yiannis who is one of the owners, absolutely superb, just like him. Yiannis is married to the lovely Helen, and a few nights we were treated to service by Theo, their son, who is an absolute delight, a credit to his parents and the Paktitis family. Covid update, All social distancing was in place, with a sanitising station in the restaurant and the waiters all wore masks.

Then came the alcohol, excellent choice in cocktails, Long Island Ice tea, Negroni, strawberry Mojito, Blue Lagoon, Singapore sling, bubble gum, Agios Gordios, and Sea Breeze special, Aperol, Bellini, copious amount of sweet white wine, red wine, mythos, and cooling milk shakes and ice cream. Each drink we tried were made very well and presented professionally (I work in the drinks industry and was very impressed with the selection of drinks.

We stayed by the pool area every day, it is a very peaceful area with regular returners staying at the sea breeze, the pool is cool, which is very welcoming on very hot days, the area has a shower too, to wash yourself down before getting into the pool. The pool is cleaned every night by a machine which I will attach in photos.

The Sea Breeze is and will always be our most favourite accommodation and location to stay, coupled with the best hospitality in the business, The owners, Vasilis, Yiannis, Dora and Helen are the most exquisite of humans and Greeks, they are very subtle, hospitable, kind, and always there to assist in whatever way they can. Marios the waiter was always there with a smile and great service, Spiros worked hard on the beach serving customers and always making the area clean and tidy, and because of Covid, he would sanitise each lounger as soon as they became vacant.

Spirodauu, and Maria the cleaners, were also superb ladies doing a fantastic job on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, they were in full PPE now with the heat we think these ladies are true heroes, we had to leave the bathroom door open, and vacate our room at 10:30 so it was covid safe for them to do their jobs, truly lovely ladies.

Vasilis is such a lovely man, always willing to chat and have a laugh, he is married to the very beautiful Dora, who serves on the bar with Helen. I work in hospitality/customer service and I can honestly say, the Greeks, particularly this family can teach people a thing or two.

We have booked 19 days next year, we cannot get enough of these beautiful humans and village. Stay safe Sea Breeze Family, staff and all people in the village, hope you all get through winter, and rise like a phoenix for 2021 season.

Like Wendy and Shaun, this year we had to cancel our stay at the Sea Breeze.
Roll on 2021 , and we will be back at our little bit of heaven. Everything crossed Covid is then under control.
Looking forward to a warm welcome, fantastic hotel, great food, lovely beach and village

Room tip: Wonderful room, clean comfortable, wonderful sea views.

Really good hotel and restaurant. We had room 22 which is a one bedroom, modern apartment, with a balcony overlooking the sea, fridge, freezer etc, and good air con. The pool area is great, after a few days on the beach we stayed there during the day. Quite quiet which was nice, but it may be different in more normal times. I think you get the best value booking directly with the hotel, Vasilis will look after your and order a taxi to pick you up from the airport. The service at the bar and restaurant is excellent, the guys there are really friendly. Agio Gordios is brilliant, I can understand why people come here every year. I think that the Sea Breeze is the best is probably the best hotel there. Highly recommend!

Really missed our holiday this year at Sea breeze, been going for a few years now but due to Covid 19 restrictions had to cancel. This is a family run hotel who are very friendly, the food and accommodation is great.. Well worth a visit. Can’t wait to be there again next year.

When they showed us our room, it became very clear that the photos online are extremely misleading. They have 1-2 modern, bright rooms- of which almost all the photos are taken. the rest of the rooms would need modernization and don’t have a comparable view at the front beach.

We booked the most expensive room category and the room was really not good. We showed him the photos and he said that the room was “the same room category” - but what does that mean if they decide on their own room categories? We refused to take it and left.

The pool area looked very nice and they gave us the deposit back without disputing it - which was nice and decent. He was quite nice about us being to unhappy, to be honest. That is why I rank the experience with two stars, not one.

But I would not recommend to book this hotel - at least not based on the photos of the rooms they put online. Also the whole Bay Area is a tourist:
better travel to other parts of Corfu (or even better, to others of the Ionian islands...).
