A friendly and warm greeting from the staff on arrival. They really cared that everything we wanted was in place and of course had local knowledge regarding beaches, shopping etc. Plenty of towels, and self-catering equipment, including a fridge!!! a lovely welcome and so much better than queuing to check into a hotel!!!

Room tip: There are parking places

This hotel is simply exquisite. It was far beyond our expectations to find such accommodation in Vassiliki. I'll try to use as few words as possible to summarize:
Location: ideal. Close to the beach but at the same time private and quiet.
Sea: on your doorstep, crystal clear.
Room: perfect, really high standards. Would be appreciated by quality seekers.
Hotel: organized, friendly, offers many possibilities & activities, safe and owners are very decent and happy persons.
Overall: we had a dreamy vacation inside and out Argo.Vassiliki is vivid, with kind locals, delicious food and many things to encounter.

We stayed at Argo for a whole week and we didn't realized how the time passed! The room was very clean ,brand new and the owners were very friendly and ready to answer to all of our questions.I really like the fact that there was always a parking place because my friend who was staying in an other hotel in Vassiliki was searching for a parking place for a long time daily.

We (couple with 3 kids) stayed in one of the top floor (3 floors with no elevator!) apartments for 4 nights. The apartment is tidy and clean and has 2 floors. The bottom level consists of a small living room, a bathroom, a tiny tiny kitchen and a balcony. The top level consists of 2 bedrooms. The apartment had only 2 double beds and we had to ask for an additional mattress (placed on the floor) for our youngest. The bedrooms are spacious and the beds are comfortable. The bottom level is crowded. The kitchen is too small to be practical and has no microwave. The fridge was either not cold enough or too cold and froze all our food. From the balcony there is some view of the sea but mainly of the hotel across the street. There are some mosquitoes so make sure to keep the nets closed at all times. Yorgos at the counter was always friendly and helpful (including sightseeing and beach recommendations). There is plenty of parking in the area and a small supermarket downstairs. I have no idea what the other apartments are like. If you're not planning any intense use of the kitchen then this is a nice place to stay at while in Lefkada. Enjoy!
