We stayed as a family of 2 adults and twins aged 10 months. The apartment is in a lovely location, secure and spacious. It was cleaned to a high standard and two travel cots were provided at our request. It had everything we needed including a washing machine, tv and towels for our use. The balcony is spacious and has the sun until around 2pm. Childrens and adult pools quite cold.
A quiet complex, lovely to sit on the balcony of an evening. Electic shutters to all windows and secure gated entrance.
The apartement is in a quiet area and it took us around 30mins to walk to the beach/bars/restaurants of Olhos d'Agua. Nice selection of places to eat - try Azuls for good food. There is a bar near the beach with tables outside which is good for drinks.
Albufeira is around 10mins in a taxi at around 10 euros one way. There is a small shop across the road and slightly further along the road selling daily supplies e.g. Water, eggs, bread. The bar across the road also sells cheap beer and will help with ordering a taxi.
We ordered a taxi to collect and return us to the airport via the owners. It cost 70 euros and well organised.
We hope to return again soon and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We're just back from 9 nights at Steve and Yvonne's apartment. We travelled with 2 young children and we had a fantastic holiday! The apartment is lovely, it has everything you could need, even down to a comfy mattress for the travel cot. The balcony is really spacious and is fully decked out with comfortable furniture and a great BBQ; it also overlooks to pool so it's a perfect spot to relax day or night. The apartment complex itself is quite new - it's lovely and well maintained.
I recommend renting a car - car rentals are very reasonably priced and it gives you easy access to the beautiful Falesia beach (less than 5 mins drive), and Villamoura and Albuferia are also just a 10 min drive and well worth visit.

My partner and I were looking for a relaxing 5 day holiday to get away from our busy work schudual, from first impressions this luxury appartment offers 5* amenities, well kept gardens and relaxing pool area, this did not disappoint. The apartment is extremely well furnished with the highest of quality fittings throughout.
We would like to thank Stephen and Yvonne for allowing us to share their beautiful holiday home, we will back soon.

Yet another lovely holiday, courtesy of Steve and Yvonne. We stayed at their fabulous apartment, Pata Village near Olhos d’Agua. Gorgeous setting, well maintained grounds and pool area. The apartment catered for our every need. Home from home. You don't even have to take towels! A bonus!
Hiring a car is a must., even if you only use it to get the shopping! Really good for getting you too and from the airport
The icing on the cake was the weather, even though our holiday was near the end of September into October, we had 12 glorious days.
We would definitely recommend staying here and look forward to returning in the future.

1 review One of the best if not the best apt in the complex. Catch the sun first thing in the morning sitting on the balcony overlooking the pool.small shop outside the complex for basic essential. 20 to 30 min walk along main road into village where there are plenty of restaurants for all tastes. Hope to be back again next year. ps only downside no wifi for 14 year daughter.
