In our opinion this wasn't the best beach on the island, but it's decent, clean and tidy (or at least it was when we went!) The sand is dark volcanic sand, but soft and clean. This beach is quite rocky, especially compared to some other beaches on the island - but this is fine if you are careful. The sea is slightly rougher than some other beaches too, so again, be careful. We saw people parasailing and out on boats though, so I imagine it's good for watersports. Good to visit if in the area, but I personally wouldn't make the trip to visit again above somewhere like Amadores or Puerto de Mogan.
