Villa Krini is run by the incredibly friendly couple Yiannis and Katerina. The Villa is tidy, has multiple basic but comfortable rooms, and has a large orchard filled with all sorts of local fruit and nut trees - Clementine, Grapefruit, Pomegranate, Walnut, and Olives. The place lies in the middle of the Genovese styled area of Kampos. It's a great place to find quiet and peace, and it's equally easy to use as a base to explore the rest of the island either by car or bike.

Villa Krini is located just outside of downtown Chios, situated in a beautiful property with a view of amazing gardens and mountains providing the tranquility of true Greek culture.
We have visited the Island late last summer and had an amazing stay at Villa Krini. The small hotel feels very private and peaceful. The rooms were very clean, and neat. They were even better than the photos. We had woken up very early and took a walk around the vicinity which is adjacent to a small village with beautifully woven narrow streets, stone houses and local people with their welcoming smiles.
Yannis is by far the best host I have ever met. This is a unique family run business and the feeling of staying there is a true Greek experience. Yannis and his wife were so kind, professional, loving and giving. They have advised best restaurants in town with best food and best price. The breakfast that they serve at Villa Krini is spectacular. The conversations with Yannis and his wife made the experience very special and unforgettable.
We got there by boat from Cesme, Turkey in 45 min by only paying 20 euros for a roundtrip. The food and stay were 5 times better in quality and quantity comparison to Turkey. We live Los Angeles, CA and looking forward to go back there again as soon as possible.
