We took a 45min flight with African Wings this morning. It’s was absolutely fantastic. Stunning views over Hermanus, Pearly beach low flying and shark viewing from the skies. Also saw large
Pod of dolphins and seals (without the smell). A must do if you are in the area. We will be back to see the whales.
Very professional pilot!

Almost left this blank as words fail me. This has got to be one of the best experiences we’ve had.

An understatement to say viewing whales from above is special. David was brilliant - he asked what we were after and didn’t rush off when he found the whales.

Tip - you’re cheating yourself if you don’t fly for the hour.

Also, his tip for eats afterwards was great + nice wine. If you want to know where - book a flight!

Thanks again David for a special flight.

Thank you so much David for being so accommodating due to having to move our booking. In 30mins we saw over 30 whales and even a Great White Shark. Ironic as in the same day my husband and I had been cage diving for over 2 hours and didn’t see any Great Whites! Exhilarating and phenomenal. Nothing compares with seeing whales from the air, watching their natural behaviour with no tourist boats around. Just amazing thank you and with the perfect knowledge and sense of humour.

We took an amazing 1 hour trip with a Cessna to look at the whales. An unbelievable sight of numerous whales with their babies. The water was crystal clear blue so you could see the different colors. Some were white. Then we flew onto Dyer Island to see the thousands of Seals and penquins.
On returning back to Base the Pilot flew low over the waves almost touching the water. So exciting.
A really fantastic amazing trip. I recommend this to anyone who appreciates nature and the beauty of this region.

The pilot was excellent and went to a lot of trouble to show us the best sightings. It was a windy day but he made us feel at ease. Such an amazing experience.
