Close to the beach, beautiful surroundings.
If you prefer the city life, it's easy to visit Olbia, or other places nearby. We recomend to go to Golfo Aranci and rent a boat. Spectacular experience to swim in the clear water. We even saw delphins!
The apartment is nice, and the hosts are very friendly and serviceminded.
We had a brilliant holiday here. The location of the property was AMAZING. Very quiet neighbourhood. A 1 minute walk from the beach. The beach was not overcrowded at all, loads of space for the kids. 2 very reasonable restaurants /cafes on the beach. In walking distance was a fantastic pizza place and a lovely bakery along with a few other bars/cafes. The garden which is stunning is kept by her father, who lives next door. Beds really comfortable and the the aircon was a welcome extra! Giovanna was lovely and very helpful both before and during our stay. Bus stop right outside the front gate if you want to travel further afield. HIGHLY recommend.
The house is two-bedroomed (one big double, one with two single beds), two bathroomed property (ideal with two big daughters!), with a party wall adjoining the owner's parents house. They were very pleasant and discreet, but delighted to answer any questions or recommend beaches or restaurants if asked.
We were met by Giovanna's husband who speaks good English, as does Giovanna herself, and father who - as a former French teacher - also speaks good French.
Everything was as described and more besides. There is a roof terrace and a covered outdoor veranda on which you can eat and lounge outdoors, yyet escape from the heat of the day. All the windows are fitted with fly screens which keep out the very occasional unwanted beastie at night, and mean you can sleep with the windows open.
The kitchen is a kitchenette, as described, but contains all the equipment you need. A washing machine and washing lines are to be found outside the house in an adjacent building. The house is surrounded by a garden full of sun-loving flowers and plants, and we sometimes found delicious presents of fresh apricots or lemons on the outside table in the morning.
The beach can be reached in 5 mins on foot, there are sun beds and parasols for hire for 6€ apiece if you don't feel like carrying everything with you, and there are two more than adequate restaurants/ cafés on the beach if you don't want to cook either! And of course, the scenery is beautiful!
There is a bus from Olbia which goes to the beach at Bados, so if you don't want to go too far afield, everything can be done on foot. Cycles can also be hired from various places in the area.
We spent a lovely week here, and would have absolutely no hesitation whatsoever in recommending it to anyone.
