We had the opportunity to dine at La Contrada with some friends who own a B&B near by. It certainly helps anytime to order with a local on your side. Our experience was very good. We ordered 1 kilo of beef to serve 2 couples and it was enough along with some pasta and grilled veggies.
It was fun having Paulo slice the slab of meat and then cooking it ourselves to our liking on the hot rock.
The place is not easy to find and there are some blind ridges on the way up but worth the trip.
