I stayed at the villa with my partner and 3 children and found the villa to be an amazing bit of space.
We arrived at Faro, Portugal around 11pm and drove to the villa from the airport which took around 40mins (Used Google maps) and met with Nuno at the property around midnight. Couldn't thank Nuno enough for his kind gesture and bringing snacks and drinks with him (life saver). The villa is tucked away from the built up area and provides an open view and privacy. It was very pleasant to wake up to birds tweeting and stepping out to the swimming pool area and the view. Weather wasn't too great so couldn't make use of the bbq facilities.
The villa has most of its rooms on the ground floor (suitable for wheel chair access) and has one of the bedrooms with toilet/shower and balcony upstairs. The villa is very clean throughout and the finishing is to a high standard in most parts of the accommodation.
Swimming pool is treated and cleaned, we were given advance notice by Nuno that someone may come around to clean the pool and we had a visit by Oleg, a very nice man! had a conversation with Oleg for 15mins with a mixture of English and Portuguese.
If you are travelling in march/April time I suggest you take extra layers of clothing, it was very windy and raining during our stay and we found the only negative about the villa is it can get a bit cold during the evening and early mornings as the property does not have heating. That is the only downer I promise.
Oh yes, one more thing! It was very convenient to have a car as walking wasn't an option. There aren't any shops within walking distance and the closest supermarket we found was at the shopping centre which was around 7 mins drive. Also, off street parking is available within the parameters of the villa.
Overall a fantastic place and would definitely consider staying at the villa again.
Stayed here From May 22nd with four of my friends for a golfing and Fishing Holiday, Lovely Villa with a Great pool and Great Kitchen, Lounge and Bedrooms,
We Made great use of the BBQ a couple of times , everything was on hand tongs etc
We got a taxi some Nights into Albuferia which cost us €11 one way which is nothing between 5 of us .
We found the Villa Quite easy using our Sat Nav but I think you might struggle Without one .
Would definitely use this Villa Again .
Supermarkets and Shops are about 5mins away by car.
All in a very Relaxing Stay
We have just returned after a week at this Villa. We found everything we needed here from lovely towels to a well equipped kitchen the double bedroom upstairs was amazing walking out onto the balcony in the morning with a beautiful view
The pool was lovely with ample space for six people
The wi fi was a little dodgy but to be fair we were on holiday
You definitely need a hire a vehicle to get around it took us around ten minutes to drive to old town Albufeira and about fifteen to the strip
There are plenty of large shops around you will need to call on the way to the Villa for your essentials
All the beds were comfortable and the furniture was clean and added to the ambience of the villa
Nuno the owner was so helpful from the start of the booking
The lady we met at the villa was lovely very warm and welcoming
Nothing was too much trouble for her
This was our first time in a villa and I would highly recommend it for our future Holidays
This villa is a little hidden gem and we felt very safe and relaxed
We would love to return I do believe the owner is looking at making some improvements which I hope would be air conditioning
Would definitely return to this wonderful place
Belo Horizonte is a great villa to stay in for close family wanting to get away from it all but still be near to lively shopping/beaches etc when required. The worst thing is the owner is looking to sell at present which means we would not be able to go back in future months/years! Love it.
