I am only sorry that I am only writing this now.We stayed at this holiday house with my husband, two children and my parents for a long weekend in January. The house is very homely and tastefully decorated. It had everything we needed and more.... Even a charger for our phone, which we had forgotten.
The house is central for day tripping around the beautiful coastline. Cliffs of moher are 5 mins drive away, and lahinch beach is 10 mins drive in the other direction. We ate in one night, which was made easy by a well stocked kitchen..... The host, Deirdre gave us names of a number of restaurants that she would recommend, well worth it.
Board games that are in the house allowed us to regroup as a family again, and ensured we laughed.
The house was very warm despite the freezing conditions outside, and the stove gave us a warm fussy feeling.....
All in all a truly super trip, will definitely be back

Myself and my family visited Liscannor over the Easter Break and stayed in this beautiful house. 2 of the bedrooms are ensuite (1 wheelchair assessible) which the adults were delighted with and the kids stayed in the very bright rooms with bunk beds. The sitting room was very bright and cosy with a stove that heated the room very quickly. The kitchen is fully equipped and has extra seating as well as a large dinning table. We settled in very quickly and it really did feel like a home away from home.
The village of Liscannor is a very short walk away from the house with a fabulous restaurant and a couple of bars. Lahinch is about 3 miles away and it's has a huge variety of shops, bars and restaurants as well as a great swimming pool and a playground. We were told there are plenty of summer camps and other activities for children during the summer.
Liscannor is a perfect location as we were able to take day trips to Doolin, the Cliffs of Moher and Lisdoonvarna but were also only a short distance from the sea and a beautiful area called Clahan.
Wevhave decided to go back for a week in the summer and we will definitely stay here. It's great value and we really couldn't fault it.
