It was our first time in a traditional stone villa...it wont be our last! Had the most relaxing stay..i even read 6 books. Even though you are smack bank in the hub of the village, it feels like somewhere more remote. As you walk into your gate your greeted with a beautiful garden with olive trees and greenery and a just right size gleaming blue pool. Then the villa itself which was like a cosy house with everything you need all under one roof. Air con was excellent and a real necessity in the boiley hot month of august. I spend almost every day sat by pool reading..only pausing for a quick dip to cool down or by just walking a few feet to the kitchen for refreshments. If its a relaxing quiet holiday you are looking for then this is the place to stay. Definitely going to book again for next year.
If, like us, you prefer a quieter, peaceful holiday, away from the mainstream tourist areas, you'll love this. This one bedroom villa is furnished to a very high standard and is nestled in the middle of the small, very typical Cypriot village of Neo Chorion. George the owner has an office in the village and is on hand most days to check everything is OK. couldn't be more helpful. The villas are cleaned week-days and the pool every 2 - 3 days. There are a few simple tavernas in the village serving local fare, we used Koupas (Stone Tavern) several times and never had a bad meal and a local mini market directly opposite where you always had a warm welcome and purchase essentials. Highly recommended for recharging your batteries.
