Let me start by saying wow..."What hospitality!" Did my wedding at Mt. Cinnamon less than 2 weeks ago and boy oh boy what an experience. I felt like I was at home, Carlene and her team made everything run so smoothly. My now husband and I were very impressed by the care and attention we received from the staff and management. Mark's welcome was very warm and genuine, we felt like celebrities. Cannot express the gratitude and fortune to have had Carlene coordinate everything leading up to the wedding day. What a Gem she is to Mt. Cinnamon. Mark need to give you a day off Carlene! Kevin also was amazing, very friendly and willing, he took us to all our Ministry trips for marriage registration etc.. Thank You Kevin, you're the best!
To add Mt. Cinnamon is probably if not the best, one of the best wedding venues in Grenada. All our guests were impressed at dinner and had a blast on the beach doing s'mores with the bonfire!

We are looking forward to the anniversary and I would have it no other way but to head back to Mt. Cinnamon!

Congratulations again to you both. How fabulous you looked on your big day and what a thrill it was for the team to be a part of it.

Many thanks for your kind words and thank you for mentioning all the great work Carlene and the team do on a daily basis!

We have great rooms, excellent food and beverage, fun facilities and an amazing location with breathtaking views- but our best asset is the team here at Mount Cinnamon.

We were so proud to have you choose us to spend your big day and invite all your family and loved ones! A truly memorable experience and we look forward to welcoming you back on that first anniversary!!

Best wishes again to you both and your family.

We just returned from a wonderful few days at Mount Cinnamon. They really know how to welcome their guests at Mount Cinnamon from the yummy rum punch to the relaxing neck and shoulder massage.
Our room was very comfortable with a fantastic view and the soothing sounds of the waves. The little touches such as the complimentary banana bread, the welcome note and the nightly cookies made our stay even better.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location of Mount Cinnamon is perfect since it is walking distance to a lot of restaurants, the mall etc.
Their beach Cabana restaurant saavys has the best drinks and food.
The only reason I gave them 4 stars was because their breakfast although tasty was repetitive and the AC in our room was temperamental. Also, the pool wasn't impressive but I meanwho goes to Grenada for the pool.
Other than that we would definitely return to Mount Cinnamon.

The team were very pleased to hear that you would definitely return to Mount Cinnamon.

It was also great to know that you enjoyed our welcome and the small touches; we believe they can make a big difference.

Sorry you did not enjoy our pool. I agree that the beach is more inviting, but we do have many regular return guests who enjoy the pool atmosphere with their families.

I will also discus your feedback regarding breakfast with our chef Karim. We do try and mix it up with the different fruits, depending on what's in season. Also a different Caribbean special each morning. In addition there is a different mix of fresh juice and pastries as well as assorted cereals and yogurt. The menu consists of eggs any style with all the sides, omelets with assorted fillings, pancakes, breakfast burrito, local hot and cold tuna.

Thank you for choosing Mount Cinnamon and we do hope to see you again.

Regards,

We stayed at Mount Cinnamon on the recommendation of our travel agent. We usually stay at the bigger resort type of hotel, this was our first stay at a boutique hotel, We loved the experience, The smaller hotel definitely has a more intimate feel. All of the staff that we encountered were great, very friendly and welcoming. It was so nice how they greeted us by name and were available to answer questions or fill any need we had.
The food was great at both the hotel and the beach bar. We did have several dinners there and lunches on the beach The 'drink of the day" was always interesting and different which I liked.
Hopefully we will return to Grenada and Mount Cinnamon, loved the beach and the island. Highly recommend!!

On behalf of the entire team, many thanks for that terrific feedback.

It was great to know that you enjoyed the boutique experience. I do think it is more intimate and personal.

Thank you for mentioning our amazing team. Good also to know that the food and beverage at both restaurants was great.

We really appreciate your recommendation and trust you will have the opportunity to return to Grenada and join us jhere at Mount Cinnamon in the near future.

Best Wishes,

We’ve just had a very enjoyable stay in Mt Cinnamon. We picked it as we like smaller hotels, and this one didn’t disappoint.
We had one of the Cinnamon Suites, which we liked. It’s reasonably spacious, very modern and had a great view over Grand Anse and St George’s.
The staff members are excellent: efficient, friendly and fun, and the whole place is well-run by the general manager Mark.
It was fairly quiet when we were there, which was ok by us. We stayed AI, although most guests do not (it seemed). The food was very good, although if you stay for more than a week then the menu may get a little too repetitive for those who are picky eaters.
The hotel pool is small and little-used, as far as we could see. We preferred the stroll down to the beach and the cabana for drinks and lunch.
In summary, this hotel suited us just fine. We will likely return.

The team was thrilled to know that you will likely return. This is simply the best compliment to us.

It was also great to know that you enjoyed your accommodations, the views, the food and the staff. All very key elements to a great vacation.

Thank you for choosing Grenada and Mount Cinnamon and thanks also for taking the time to post this review.

I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. My partner and I first stayed at Mount Cinnamon in 2009, a couple of yers after it had opened and loved the location on Grand Anse beach, the amazing views and the style of the villas and their decor. However we first returned only last May for the final 5 days of holiday that was mainly spent with a group of friends in a larger Villa in Lance aux Epines, Grenada. We had a one bedroom apartment over the pool with a lovely outside area with views over Grand Anse beach. The bed is the most comfortable I have ever slept in, the living room/kitchen was spacious and beautifully furnished with bright vibrant flashes of colour against a clean white background and there were 2 bathrooms! Down on the beach they have a private beach cabana/bar/restaurant which was great to hangout in during the day with comfortable sunbeds and shades and watersports as well as drinks and lunch.

During that stay we met Mark Kitchner, an Australian who had recently become the General Manager and he told us of his plans for the place. This year we started our annual Grenadian holiday with 5 days at Mount Cinnamon and could not be happier with that choice. Mark and the team greeted us like long lost friends , upgraded us to a Villa and we really felt that the atmosphere and the service in the hotel had moved up several notches from good to great. They noticed from the passports it was my birthday during the stay and arranged with my partner a delicious chocolate cake after dinner the night before as we were out for the birthday meals. When they heard we had got engaged earlier this year, we also found a bottle of fizz arriving in our room.

Another improvement is the food. The breakfast selection was good with a different caribbean option each day as well as a broader than usual selection of freshly cooked to order international breakfasts on top of freshly made juices, prepared fruit and pastries. The catch of the day with salad and sweet potato fries in the beaach cabana was a favourite for lunch whilst the dinner menu had some delicious combinations of caribbean flavours with quality meat and fish. Friday evening had a bonfire beach party as part of the annual Grenadian Chocolate festival, with a local band and dancers as well as some special chocolate concoctions which worked surprisingly well. Coconut tempura Shrimp with chocolate sauce is not something I would normally try but was amazing! Saturday evening the restarant also serves a selection of Tapas accompanied by a Jazz singer.

Thank you again to all the brilliant staff and congratulations to Mark for putting together such a great team. We cant wait to visit you again!

It was really fantastic to read your review and hear your feedback on the property.

The team have worked so hard over the last few years and I am very pleased that you experienced this.

We are continuing to focus on upgrading our accommodations and of course our new Cinnamon Suites are proving very popular.

Karim and the kitchen team have been focused on offering fresh and local produce, while providing guests with more tasty options and variations ( including our private beach dinners )

It was also great that you were here for the chocolate festival. This event has grown from strength to strength over the last 5 years.

Congratulations once again and we look forward to your next trip to Grenada and Mount Cinnamon.

Safe Travels,
