This hotel has lovely, comfortable rooms. Located in a shopping mall where only very few shops were opened. Website advertised GYM, but there was none. Security guards were teenages who where hardly at there post. I asked the manager/supervisor (very young lady) for a 10% discount because there was no GYM for use during stay. She argued with me that I was told this upon checking in (never happened at 0100 am in the morning that I chceked in) and refused. Breakfast at outdoors resturant was pleasant but you need a fly swatter while trying to eat. Definately would not recomment this hotel to anyone; except maybe my EX-wife.

Stayed during the Cricket World Cup, so we paid above the high season rate printed in the hotel brochure. Rooms are extremely modern and the bathroom is very nice. However the hotel is very strangely located within a shopping mall (and not a very good one at that). There are no beach facilities such as chairs etc, and no pool. Breakfast in the morning was a below average buffet selection with lots of flies to accompany you.

The bad points first.

Booked the room on the hotel website, then received a phone call to say that the price on the hotel website was incorrect and that the correct price was $250 a night. Refused, they called back to confirm can have room at price already confirmed.

The charge for the hotel was taken out before I even arrived in Grenada, contrary to their website which states that "Your credit card will not be charged until you arrive at the hotel unless the hotel requires prepayment or a deposit prior".

Local calls advertised on hotel website via room telephone FREE for 30 minutes. Made calls to family based locally. Unfortunately, when checking out, was going to be charged $9.50 US????? not EC. Fortunately, had printed out the web page and provided this to the receptionist who waived the charge.

Also beware, as a foriegner travelling through Grenada, you will be targeted price wise, i.e the cost goes up.

Lastly on the bad points, the taxi from the hotel to the airport cost $40 EC???? for a relatively short journey.

The good points.

They allowed us to view a room before we took up residence there.

We were allowed to get access to the room early, which was very much appreciated.

A wonderful room, furnished with microwave, fridge, coffee maker, radio, tv (no movie channels though), with views looking out over Grand Anse beach.

FREE Internet access for those wanting to keep in touch with civilisation.

25 shops on site to purchase all your needs. Prices comparable to shopping in other malls in St Georges.

The breakfasts were good fare, especially the breakfast buffets we enjoyed.

Grand Anse beach approximately 3 mins walk away.

Very pleasant security guards, making sure the hotel was safe for guests.

Receptionists were efficient, made sure that everything was to our liking.

Chambermaids looked after our room very well, making sure we were well stocked with toiletries, coffee, tea etc.

Excellent location in St Georges.
