“Forget finding a hotel, this place puts every hotel chain to shame.”

I booked the Luxury Lodge for a 2 night stay, 5 adults and up for a joint 30th birthday activity weekend.

We arrived on the Friday, to find a lovely tranquil riding school It was the perfect location for what we had planned.
The Lodge was beautiful. Such a high standard of accommodation for the price. Under floor heating, two double sofa beds, a separate bedroom, a huge LCD TV and a lovely kitchen area, which was also very well equipped.

There is cafe on site. 5 guys from the South needed feeding - and the owner Debbie was great. Feeding us all with all of our "off menu" requests! (Thank you).

There were so many pubs all around - very nice too. We were surprised at how much was about within a 3 minute drive.

We were out in Nottingham City Centre which is just 12 miles away. Taxi's were surprisingly cheap (compared to the South East). Again, this place was perfect. If there is more than 4 of you going - make sure you get a number for a non local taxi company.

I'm off topic... The Log Cabin was lovely, Debbie was lovely, the location was perfect, the price was amazing. So much on offer just on the Farm too. As we were leaving, we were told they had a Bowler Wildcat and off road race track too! We'll definitely be coming back to have a go at that!

Thank you for a lovely stay. Top place.

“Excellent, beautiful setting and very relaxing”

We stayed here for the weekend as we were visiting friends. There was myself, husband any our 2.5 year old twins.

We arrived late on the Friday night to find a lovely lodge, very well finished and equipped. We were really impressed. The setting was beautiful, quiet and very relaxing. We awoke in the morning to a lovely, quiet setting, and although the stables were busy you would not have known it. Everyone was very friendly and helpful, the weekend could not have been better, On the Sunday the twins took advantage of the pony ride, which they loved, and the people working there were very friendly and helpful.
I can not recommend this place more. We came away feeling very relaxed after what was a very busy weekend. If you want a a high standard lodge, in a relaxing setting, that is super safe for the children then this is the place.
