Myself and husband stayed here 16th-26th October, expecting some rainy days but the sun shone every day - such a bonus in October.

Positives: very good food at both the main restaurant and beach restaurant with plenty of variety/themes. Enjoyed the meal on the rooftop restaurant and many cocktails - big thanks to Tina; Alex and team for looking after us (especially on our wedding anniversary night). Thanks to Zannos at the beach restaurant for his good service and chats :) Excellent quality cocktails. The night the saxophonist was playing was lovely. Clean hotel. It is a good location to have a nice walk out along the beach front in Boukari, especially to the fish restaurant only 2-3mins walk away. There is a little place to book tours by the supermarket, again 2-3mins walk, and a bus into Corfu Town is only 20 euros return. On arrival we did not like our allocated room but after the second day we were offered another room which was better; request for softer pillows were made immediately and our room was cleaned daily and towels changed daily and bedding every other day - so housekeeping was very good.

Negatives: the hotel rooms can be very noisy (especially late at night) as it is an adults only, so you find some guests can be a bit thoughtless after a few drinks! Hot water early evening is not to be expected - always luke warm. The hotel need to re-think for next year what guests will expect during the later months of the year, as there is only the reception area to sit which is very much like a waiting room or working men's club with bright lights - thoughts on dimming these and providing a more relaxed evening atmosphere would be more welcome for adults i.e. floor candles; lamps etc. Outside areas to sit are only joining onto the carpark or at the pool bar, but far too cold to consider sitting here - investment in patio heaters perhaps. The quality of cocktails in the reception and pool bar were far less superior than e.g. the rooftop - I guess the hotel wish to only give cheap drinks on the all inclusive as you have to pay for the expensive cocktails at the rooftop bar & restaurant (although it is very much worth sitting here if you have warmer clothing on, but this area was only visited infrequently by certain guests due to having to pay on top of the all inclusive). The staff at the pool bar were not very helpful and did not go out of their way to provide the drinks you wished for e.g. certain spirits had run out on some days, but they had these at the reception bar, but when asked if they were going to perhaps fetch some bottles for the pool bar - this was met with blank faces even though one of the staff had been back to the main part of the hotel and still didn't bring requests back.

The hotel will be closing for the season this weekend, but it will be nice to see next year what, if any, changes may be made to the hotel as this is needed for late season holidays.

Room tip: To be further away from the main part of the hotel; an upper floor is better

Probably the best hotel in Greece. A wonderful getaway with personalized services, extremely friendly personnel and incredible design inspired by Ancient Greece. You should definitely schedule a day cruise in the ionian islands and visit Corfu if you stay there.

We've recently returned from a week's stay at the hotel and had a great time. We would definitely return. This new hotel has had a difficult start having to operate to accommodate the myriad of COVID restrictions but has done a sterling job. The hotel is impeccably clean and the food is simply the best we have ever had at an all inclusive hotel. Just ask at reception upon arrival if you require a kettle and tea and coffee and they will get it sent to your room.
You get an a la carte meal included at the Beach Bar and the food was exquisite - top marks to the chef and his team! The location is stunning too with panoramic views across to mainland Greece. The sea is beautifully calm and like a lake at times with numerous shoals of fish at the shore line and jetty. It's a quiet area with only a few tavernas, a shop and an excursion centre nearby so if you are after foam parties, McDonalds and all night bars then this isn't the location for you!
The General Manager, Alex, is very approachable and keen for feedback, both positive and negative. He's a great asset to the hotel as they literally got the keys a fortnight before they opened so the team have had to hit the ground running.
There are a few niggles (hence not giving an excellent rating) such as the sun lounger mattresses being very wet every morning, inevitably meaning some get mould patches. The bed mattresses are very firm, which suited us, but we both found the pillows very uncomfortable. Again the staff were happy to provide softer ones on request.
The footprint of the downstairs bar and lobby areas also need a re-think, to provide some atmosphere and also accommodate more people when the weather isn't favourable.
Also the conflict of the rooftop bar being excluded from the all inclusive package and sometimes being the only area with entertainment, just doesn't sit right. The hotel is either all inclusive or it isn't!
Alex is aware of all of these points and plans are afoot for change during the off season. The team really have done an excellent job in a difficult first season.
As I said previously, we had an amazing time and would happily return.

I don't usually write reviews, but I read all the previous negative reviews and I felt like we needed to share our experience. This hotel is a true 5* hotel with exceptional service, great food and beautiful views. Every single member of staff we dealt with were brilliant. The hotel takes Covid seriously and the cleanliness is impeccable. Thank you for a great week. Kostas at the reception, George at the roof top restaurant, Aris at the bar.

We took a last minute break to this hotel this October. The hotel closes for the winter next week. On the whole it was a nice hotel- the views across to mainland Greece were second to none. The staff were constantly cleaning floors etc. All the staff were very pleasant and helpful. Our room looked straight out to sea and had a large balcony. Wardrobe space was not good and there were no drawers for your items. Food was adequate but not exciting. We didnt have teamaking facilities in our room but when i asked about this they agreed to send one along immediately, which they did. The biggest problems were that they never had enough black tea bags. We were only given 3 the whole week for two of us. We occasionally managed to steal some from the bar area but they soon removed them so if you want black English tea, take your own tea bags. The other big problem for us was we never had hot water the whole week. We could only get luke-warm water at best. Our rep reported it and we were just told to let it run for 10 minutes, which made no difference and you couldn't flush the toilet while it was running! The pillows on the bed were the roundest and heaviest I'd ever seen. They were so hard and didnt give to your head at all. I like to sleep propped up on at least 2 pillows but you couldn't put one pillow on top of another as they just sort of rolled about. But having said all that, we did enjoy our stay and the staff were lovely. There were a number of golf type buggies on site and someone would always take us down to the quiet pool in the morning and pick us up in the evening so we wouldn't have to climb up the steep slope. They also ran us along the road to a local tavern when we fancied eating off site and arranged to come and pick us uo after our meal and take us to our room. Despite the problems, I'm glad we went.

Room tip: Worth paying the extra for a superior room with view.
