This resort whilst only having 3 stars offers a 5 star experience. The rooms are set in bungalow style around a beautiful well maintained pool. The staff are friendly and the the old olive oil mill is definitely worth a visit with Monia providing an excellent translation of its unique history, typical of the area. We arrived before check in time, when the restaurant was just closing, but the staff were able to make a delicious cheese/meat platter for our lunch whilst we waited. We had organised a private cooking class by email in advance for our group of 4. This was definitely one of the highlights of our holiday in Puglia, with chef Aldo showing us how to make 4 courses with local ingredients and us taking part in pasta making and Monia translating. Our dietary requirements of gluten free and vegetarian were both accommodated and the food provided was by far the best eaten in 7 days in Puglia. The hotel is very close to Otranto which is well worth a visit, especially the Tree of Life mosaic in the cathedral. Also within easy reach is Lecce, or the local beaches.
The staff go out of their way to make your stay special. Would 100% recommend

Luigi and his family are the perfect hosts. There when you need them and out of the way when you don't. The view is spectacular from this immaculate villa and the accommodations are pristine. We had a ton of room in this three bedroom 3.5 bath beautiful home. Walking into the center of Cortona was always a highlight as you walk among the olive trees staring down on the city of Cumacia and the valley below. We parked our car when we arrived at the villa and never used it unless travelling to another city as walking was so convenient. Walk the promanade out of town and to the Tennis Club, then find your way back to the Villa without retracing your steps. Walking into Cortona at night was under bright stars that you can only imagine, unless you are a guest at Mulino a Vento!!

We spent a wonderful week here. We loved every moment of our holiday. The staff was gorgeous, the food was great and the wine was even better. I highly recommend this place if you are looking for a romantic holiday in the middle of nowhere, away from the "mainstream Italy'.

We stayed here for 7 nights and really enjoyed it!
Breakfast is delicious, rooms are clean and fully equipped. The nearest sea is at only 1km and it’s turquoise blue. The staff is polite and able to advise you on what to visit and the best seaside to go to depending on the wind. Will go back, for sure
