Recommend - beautiful hotel that feels boutique-y, but offers all the amenities of a bigger hotel

Stayed as a family with two kids (1 & 6). Beautiful hotel grounds/pool/facilities/etc, great seaviews from the hotel and rooms. Rooms are spacious, clean and in good shape. Plenty to do for the kids (large kids club with in/outdoor space, well maintained slides/aqua park, various pools), good space for adults (quiet adults pool, well equipped in/outdoor gym), mixed international guest crowd not dominated by a single nationality. Private beach is a 4-5min shuttle ride away, but didn't bother us, as it was easy to walk, shuttle was efficient and private beach was was also very nice. Main restaurant buffet food was mostly simple Greek (a positive!) with good quality, not your standard "feed the masses" buffet. Staff was friendly and helpful all around. Drinks took some time to be brought to the table, but not the point where it caused issues or was overly annoying. There is some light evening entertainment, but most guests went to bed fairly early.
Very small nit (first world problem) - brekfast coffees were pretty much always luke warm, even when we specifically asked for hot. @Royal Senses, if you read this, should be an easy fix.

Overall great choice for a week long vacation, will definitely consider this hotel again when we come back to Crete. RECOMMEND!

Relaxing family holidays

Very good hotel for a family vacation with spacious salt and fresh water pools and water slides, three restaurants with good regional food, and very good spa. Interesting room arrangements, comfortable bed with good sleep comfort and beautiful sea view.

Food and service out of this world

I never come back to the hotel I have been before, but this is the hotel I am dreaming of coming back asap. Excellent location, luxury Rooms, very nice pools, and...food ...and restaurant service...out of this world! Dimitris, the Best restaurant Manager I have ever met before ....every evening it was a culinary and sommelier journey through Greece.... unforgetteble experience.....the hotel is Worth every penny.......My recommendation is 6 star!

Great staff and lovely hotel

Second time at this lovely hotel, wonderful hotel, rooms are modern, clean and pools are lovely. Children enjoyed the kids club too, I didn’t catch her name but the manager (blonde lady) is so kind with our child.

Marked the review down a star to 4* because they’ve removed the ability to dine (when on half board) in the other restaurants on site and they’ve also stopped guests being able to swap their half board dinner for lunch which is a shame as we like to eat out on some evenings. The buffet restaurant is great, but too repetitive for 7 days.

Lovely spa, Donna was excellent, I had a fantastic massage.

Nancy the concierge was super helpful, cannot thank her enough.

Room tip: Get the free shuttle to the sister hotel to enjoy the beach!

Stylish hotel

We stayed last summer but I’m only just getting round to doing a review!
There is no doubt that this hotel is beautiful. Immaculately designed, the room was great and had a large balcony.
The pool area was faultless - there was NO reserving of sun loungers but there was also plenty of them and always available. They were also incredibly comfortable.
One quibble about the room was that the toilet window didn’t have a blackout blind and let quite a lot of light in the frosted glass.
The food and buffet for Half Board was great.
The one down side for us and a that we didn’t realise how children and baby friendly it was. This isn’t an issue itself, but it meant that at meal times there seemed to be a lot of children, and the policy of no children in the main pools wasn’t enforced so there were kids messing around and being loud when we wanted to relax.

We are really pleased you enjoyed your holiday and thank you for listing all the great parts of your stay, such as the design, the accommodation, the food quality and the comfy sun loungers.

In regard to your comment about the children kindly note that at the main pool we do not have any policy for children (they are of course allowed to use the main pools).

The only policy we have is that children in the adults only pool (at the spa area) are not allowed to use it and this is enforced at any time.
