We visited the dolphin trip and had a fantastic day out. Sebastian, the pre-tour guide, was brilliant and explained the trip in advance. The staff on board were very friendly and we had a super time. After about an hour we reached the dolphin pod (there was about 50 of them!). They swam beside the boat and out front for about 30 minutes- it was amazing. The vista from the boat was spectacular- you get a great view of the mountain in Tenerife and beautiful views of the coast.

We were able to buy a photo on board as a fun memento of the day. I would thoroughly recommend.

We had vivited Puerto Mogan earlier in the week but decided this time to take the sea ferry from Puerto Rico. Fantastic little journey. Follows the coast from the town and the views are spectacular. 14 Euros return and the ferry was on time !! No hassle or worrying about parking in Mogan which left us able to enjoy the town.

My Wife and I booked an excursion with Lineas Salmon to see the Dolphins during our weeks holiday in Gran Canaria. We were picked up by coach from our hotel and met the boat at the dock. The crew were very pleasant and the appointed tour guide gave multi lingual commentary on the varied species of aquatic life in the region. During our trip, we saw a group of approximately 50 - 60 Dolphins that swam close to the boat jumping clear of the water in an amazing display. That in itself was wonderful but it was followed with us sighting a Whale on the surface blowing water out of it's spout and aTurtle. A truly fabulous experience.

Wow!!! Somehow, in this great expanse of ocean, the crew got us up close to a humpback whale, a pod of dolphins, AND a hammerhead shark. We also saw loggerhead turtles and shearwaters during the trip. We were lucky with the whale – they explained beforehand you can never guarantee to see one. But even after they manoeuvred the boat so skilfully for us to see the animal surface three times just 25 meters away, they were eager for us to see dolphins too. So the trip lasted half an hour longer than it should have done – and we had 10 minutes of pure magic with the dolphins. My wife was seasick (the only person on board to be sick), and all the crew checked on her frequently and with genuine concern and understanding. There was no throwing the sick bags overboard – a classy touch. It felt like we were there to appreciate nature, not to interfere with it. Thoroughly recommended!

The Salmon Line runs a service between Puerto Rico and Puerto Mogan on an hourly basis. The journey takes about35 minutes. The service is efficient, pleasant, and hassle free.
The service also runs in the opposite direction to Anfi and Arguinigan.
