I chose this beautiful hotel for myself and my 2 girls age 14 & 9. We have 1 week Holiday a year. Unfortunately we had our holiday ruined by a major security breach in the kids club. The first day of our holiday my daughter wanted to go to kids club so I booked her in just given a very brief form for fill out. Name age room number allergies telephone number. No sign in or sign out policy which we are used to with TUI and first choice kids clubs. 2 staff were on and asked if Amelia is ok to leave the club on her own ? As German kids as young as 5 parents ok with this ? Absolutely not I said please call me if she wants to leave early. Myself and older daughter were just by the pool and within 30 mins saw Amelia wandering around the pool on her own !!! I went back to club and 1 staff left thought she had gone to play football with the other ??? This is unacceptable as the most important thing about your Holiday is the safety and security of your family. As a single parent on holiday with 2 daughters left me feeling very vulnerable. I never got to use spa or gym which I intended. I asked rep to move me to hotel with TUI or first choice kids club. This never happened we decided to stay and make the most of the week. The management in fairness were very good at the investigation. Admitted liability. I received a report from Tui rep to say this was neglect with the kids club. We received an upgrade family room as ours was near main entrance for breakfast and got woken up at 7am first 2 mornings. I was asked to signed a form to say this was compensation for neglect in the kids club. !!! I’m just relieved myself and my daughters got home safe. This needs identifying with a sign in and sign out procedure. The highlight of our holiday was a in Lindos just beautiful.

Dear Samantha,

Thank you very much for choosing Princess Andriana Resort & Spa for your valuable holidays.

We would like to apologize for any inconvenience caused, due to the issue at Prince & Princess mini club. It was a miscommunication between two of the mini club’s staff members that caused the incident. However, by the time you brought that into our attention, we immediately took action and made a thorough investigation. Our Hotel Manager, accepted that it was our fault and offered our sincere apologies. He also did reassure you that the kids club is a safe environment for your children and that we would do the best possible so that such incidents will not happen again. Our numerous positive reviews could also confirm the great work done by our animation team at the kids club.

Once again, we would like to thank you for bringing the issue into our attention, as we had the opportunity to investigate it further and we did took all necessary measures to prevent similar incidents in the future.

We only wish that, despite the disappointment caused because of this experience, you were still able to enjoy your holiday and the services provided at the hotel. We hope to have the chance of welcoming you back, so that we can restore your faith in the hotel and provide the service you expect and deserve.

Kindest Regards,
Princess Andriana Resort & Spa.

We have got home from a brilliant 2 weeks at the Princess Andriana.

We booked a private transfer to the hotel which was well worth it as the journey was only 1 hour rather than the 2 hours stated.
The hotel is beautiful and spotless, check in was stress free and the room was lovely.
We had a pool view which was well worth it.

The food was brilliant, plenty of choice and the moonlight restaurant was delicious and the cocktails well worth paying extra for. The staff in the Italian/burger restaurant were super friendly, particularly Gazi.
A highlight for our three year old was that they had a special area for children’s food, which was children’s level so he could help himself to his dinner! He loved this.

The animation team are super friendly, and the shows were absolutely hilarious! They made us laugh every night and even our 3 year old loved them. They are a crazy, friendly bunch who work so hard. They always take their time to chat to you, a favourite for us was Allesandro, he was just hilarious and great with our son. The main guy who was in charge is very talented and clearly works very hard!

The hotel is a 25 minute bus drive from Lindos, which is well worth the journey as Lindos was beautiful.
There isn’t a great deal in kiotari, a few restaurants and shops.

Our only criticisms are that the toiletries in the room aren’t restocked, we had to ask for more which you don’t expect in a 5* and we had a stressful last hour as we had booked the complimentary room to get showered in as we had a late flight, only to find 13 people there also waiting for the same room! You are meant to get a half an hour slot each so not really sure what happened here as there seemed to be a lot of family’s with the same time slot as us.
Thankfully the hotel reception staff were very helpful and were able to provide us with a hotel room to get showered and changed in.

Overall I would recommend this hotel, we had an amazing time and our three year old had the best time ever. We would most certainly return :)

We are just leaving this hotel as a couple. We have been here for 7 nights (20th June - 27th June) and had a junior suite with private pool. We arrived late due to a long delay with Thomas Cook, on check in the reception desk staff were lovely and told us about the hotel and all the different food choices you could book. On arrival to our room, we had a mini bar with drinks (mainly soft drinks apart from 2 bottles of local beer) and sandwiches which was a really nice touch after a long day.

The room:
I have to say that the room (junior suite with private pool) was amazing, probably the best I’ve ever stayed in. They are very big with a corner sofa, 2 TVs (although the reception wasn’t always great), a spacious 4 poster bed and a bathroom with bath and shower. Outside the doors we had a patio with a table and chairs/sunbeds and our own pool. We stayed in room 8002 which doesn’t offer much privacy as it is next to the footpath to the beach. Some of the rooms further away are a bit more private.

The food:
The Medallion restaurant is the main buffet restaurant in the hotel. It isn’t the best food in my opinion and not what you would expect from a 5 star hotel. We only visited here on a couple of occasions. That being said you get a visit in your stay to the Moonlight restaurant, a Burger Bar and an Italian. You also have the option to pay for the BBQ restaurant at 20 euros per person. The Moonlight food is really nice and tasty. Our personal favourite was the burger bar and the Italian - the waiter here Constantinos was so very friendly and pleasant, making our visits to these restaurants enjoyable. We also visited the bbq which was a really nice relaxing setting and again the waiter (I didn’t get his name) really made the night for us.

Other:
The hotel overall is really clean and has a nice layout, the light show with the fountains every night is really nice. The reception is big and spacious and has lots of comfy chairs to have a break from the sun. The main pool is very big although we never used it. Had we not had our own private pool I’m not sure it would have been a hotel I’d have stayed at, as it’s very busy and sometimes crowded. There is a supermarket on site at the hotel but it is very expensive compared to the local shops outside of the hotel.

We had a couple of issues with the hotel, one being charged 37 euros for a bottle of wine that we had never had, and having to ask for the mini bar to be refilled. It should have been filled 3 times during our stay and in fact it happened twice and only because I had to ask. No big deal but for a 5 star hotel, these things should not be happening.

Kiotari itself is a lovely little village but there isn’t much to do. If you go outside of the hotel and turn right and walk for about 10 minutes, there is a cafe “grecafe” it does some lovely food and amazing cocktails, and the waiter there Sam is one of the nicest people I have ever met.

Would I return to this hotel, in honesty no, there are nicer hotels around this area. Would 100 percent come back to Rhodes though! You cannot beat Greek hospitality!

On arrival at the hotel it was notable how nice the staff were and how well presented and clean it was, this remained the same throughout our stay. The staff were so nice, always very welcoming and had a great attitude.

The beer here is similar to that of the liquid in the pool... the alcohol as a whole is very weak meaning you usually end up going to the shop for real booze. Kind of defies the whole all inclusive experience. The normal soft drinks taste very watery too.

The restaurant probably wouldn’t be allowed to operate in the Uk. They serve cold food and the meat has zero taste other than the oil that it’s cooked in. It’s normal for it but I be rubbery too. The selection is a frustrating especially when it’s a theme night, it’s quite easy to walk round the full buffet and decide there’s nothing you really like or fancy. It was standard to see adults at the kids buffet which also only had 6 or so choices. Shouldn’t be limited on what you can eat when your on holiday. It’s basiclly been done on the cheap. This is not ‘luxury’ food. It has to be mentioned that all the restaurant service staff are very friendly and excellent.

The bbq restaurant is brilliant, no complaints there. The Italian is shocking and people actually walked out when they received there food cos it wasn’t nice at all. The pizza was more salt than pizza. They served a choice of pizzas or pastas and that was it.

The WiFi basiclly doesn’t work unless you wanna pay 40 pounds a week, that’s all that needs to be said about that.

The entertainment at night is almost non existent. The hotel do offer some but it’s not the best, I’ve experienced a lot better in cheap hotels. They had these 4 singers in one night at the amphitheater and people were walking it out it was that bad. Be warned if you have kids they play loud music round the pool till 11pm some nights which can be heard from your room so it will keep them awake. Not sure if it’s pure insulation or it’s just ridiculously loud.

The on site shop charge 20 euros for sun cream so make sure you bring enough.

Make sure you visit the spa; the pool, steam room and sauna are good when the sun isn’t shinning outside.

Overall the hotel isn’t worth the money you pay, it’s a very basic all inclusive, the only luxury here is the hotel building, rooms and the way the staff treat you.

Dear Jacob A,

Thank you for taking the time to share with us your feedback regarding your recent stay at Princess Andriana Resort & Spa.

We genuinely appreciate your kind words regarding our staff and we will pass your compliments along to them. We would also like to thank you for your positive comments regarding our BBQ Restaurant, which will be forwarded to the relevant department.

On the other side, we are disappointed to know that both our Italian & main restaurant did not meet your expectations. However, we are surprised to read that you could not find anything to match your taste at the buffet restaurant, since a wide variety of food is provided every day. Certainly, taste is a matter of personal preference, but the majority of the reviews we get for our food menus are positive. Nevertheless, your comments will be forwarded to our Executive Chef and will be taken into consideration, since there is always space for improvement.

With regards to the evening entertainment, our Animation Team performs a show at the Amphitheater 6 times per week. In addition to that, various music shows are organized by the pool. We are therefore surprised that you found the evening entertainment non-existent.

Finally, since we treat all comments and feedback with great significance whether they are positive or negative, we would like to thank you for bringing these shortcomings into our attention. We will do the best possible to improve ourselves moving forward and we hope to have the chance to welcome you back in the future.

Kindest regards,
Princess Andriana Resort & Spa.

Very nice hotel, great service, excellent food! Me and my son (11 years) - we spent a great vacation here! The staff is incredible - I would like to thanks the front office manager (blond lady) to help me with the special room requirements- I just love the attitude "nothing is impossible"! From F&B department to Mihaela from pool bar, Vasilis from beach bar and Kristos from main restaurant (breakfast) - they always made our days even nicer - so professional, quick, always with smile! Big thanks to the animation team to Alessandro and Anna - they were just great! I have to say that they are definitely the best animators I've ever known! Thank you Princess Andriana - we will definitely come back again!
