Villa Pargo is a very well equipped and comfortable 3 bedroom villa. The kitchen is very well stocked for self-catering which we found useful with a young baby and also as it's a bit of a drive to nearby restaurants. We absolutely loved the interior decor, everything is new and very stylish; the beds and sofas are all very comfortable.
The location is quite high up on a cliff overlooking the sea so the views are breathtaking. It's a great location to feel really away from it all and experience peace and quiet. The drive to Funchal the capital can take about an hour though and the roads near the villa are very windy and steep, so we preferred to take sightseeing trips during the day, then spend the evening at the villa where the sunset over the sea is stunning. We stayed over New Year and the owners kindly arranged for the pool to be heated for us and we were lucky enough to have glorious weather on our last day and loved spending the day swimming and lazing by the pool.
