In Jan 2021 I visited Rutu Farms for second time. Last time it was in May 2018. Both experiences were awesome. The property is well maintained, clean, luxurious and yet budget friendly. The staff is courteous, helping and friendly too. Food was authentic maharashtrian cuisine and was tasty too. Its a close drive from Wai city. So reachable easily and yet calm, nature based.

Near to commercial and crowded mahabaleshwar and Panchgani for a 1 day tour. Visit Ganapati Temple at Wai, Go for a farm visit, Taste and Buy Strawberries and vegetables.

Was excited to visit this place even before I reached there.. Really a very calm and soothing experience in this wonderful property. Starting from the Courtois staff, special mention to Rohan who took care of our food requirements and arranged a farm visit on a tractor. The music goin on is really sooting in the morning. The lush greenery, The seating area,play area, the chirping of the love birds is music to the ears. The Maharashtrian cooked home food with special sweet is really tasty. Was mesmerized to stay there and waiting to go back again to enjoy my time again. Felt some connection with the place.

A nice place for a weekend's getaway from the city, especially for silence and to breathe clean and fresh air. The food quality is great. Staff is nice and polite.

Rooms don't have napkins and bath towels which can be an issue during longer stays(2+ nights).
This was my second visit here, the first one being in 2015. The stay was excellent and the food as usual was tasty. Try the ‘Kanda Bhaji (fritters)’ Cleanliness was top notch. The staff led by Rohan was extremely helpful and catered to us with a smile.
Suggested improvements - towels in washroom and an intercom in the room.
Choice of food should be more. Linen should be cleaner. The staff led by Rohan was courteous. Alex the dog needs to be not always tied on a leash. It is a wonderful dog and needs to be left more in the open and not always tied to a tree. That is sad to see.
