“Peace & Relaxtion”
Reviewed 6 July 2016 for a stay in January 2016

We spent a lovely week at Rose Tree Cottage. It was peaceful and quiet and we enjoyed great walks in the Forest of Dean & Wye Valley. We had a delicious welcome basket left for us full of treats which were a nice surprise and much appreciated. Plenty of logs were also available for the open fire and we made use of this in the evenings. We really enjoyed our break in this beautiful area.

“Cost cottage. Stunning views.”
Reviewed 18 June 2016 for a stay in November 2015

Spent a lovely week here in this cosy cottage in early November. The Autumn colours gave spectacular views from the garden of the cottage. Situated on the edge of the Forest of Dean it is easy to get to lots of different places. There was a Welcome pack for our arrival and a warm greeting from the owners who live next door. Great also that we could take our dog with us. The cottage is well equipped and also has a dish washer and a washing machine. Such a treat to be able to light the log fire and make the living room warm and cosy. Especially as the evenings were staring to get more chilly.
The cottage is very spacious. It is lovely to sit by the large landing area and look out at the wonderful views all around. There is an abundance of wildlife to enjoy. Many birds visiting the gardens. It is so peaceful in this setting. Lovely place if you want peace and quiet.
I would highly recommend that if you stay in this cottage that you visit the Red Hart pub at Blaisdon. Always a friendly welcome. Lovely food and dogs are welcome in the bar area.
